Inside 3D Tour

Surely you have already heard of our Inside 3D Tour, the series of videos in which we visit major manufacturers or distributors in the 3D industry to learn firsthand how the different additive manufacturing methods are developed, and understand what are the processes to which the most advanced technologies in the industry are subjected before starting their production. We previously visited the factories of BCN3D in Barcelona, Spain, and Velo3D in Augsburg, Germany. This time, we have moved to Israel to visit the headquarters of the multinational Stratasys as well as its machine production site. Don’t miss this new episode of the Inside 3D Tour!

First, the 3Dnatives team was welcomed by Yoav Zeif, CEO of Stratasys, currently a major player in additive manufacturing which has a portfolio that boasts more than fives manufacturing technologies. We toured the corridors of their headquarters in Rehovot, Israel, as well as their 3D printing labs. With Ron Scherf, the VP of Healthcare and Consumer R&D, we visited one of their PolyJet technology labs and learned about their latest innovations in terms of materials. Finally, we closed the tour by visiting their production site located in Kiryat Gat. Last but not least, accompanied by Koren Matalon, the VP of Global Operations, we were able to see where their 3D solutions are manufactured, and understand the process of preparing the machines prior to shipment.
