Since 3D printing has exploded in the last few years, hundreds of 3D printer manufacturers have been set up to build 3D printers to meet this new demand. These manufacturers come from all over the world, ranging from the USA to the UK, across Europe.
The USA has a huge amount of 3D printer manufacturers. These include two heavyweights in the 3D printing industry, 3D Systems and Stratasys. In addition, a number of fast-growing startups from the USA, such as Formlabs and Markforged who are doing big things in the SLA/SLS and metal 3D printing industries.
Though there aren't as many large European 3D printer manufacturers as in the USA. 3D printer manufacturers such as Zortrax and Ultimaker have grown to become major players in the desktop 3D printing industry. In addition, UK industrial manufacturer Renishaw are a major player in the 3D printing market.
