Jet Fusion is the proprietary additive manufacturing technology with which HP has burst into the world of 3D printing. With its Jet Fusion 3200 and Jet Fusion 4200 models, HP wants accelerate and reduce costs associated with design, prototyping and manufacturing. The result is a production speed 10 times higher compared to competing printing processes such as FDM or SLS. The 4200 is HP’s first professional printer to manufacture small and medium-sized parts for industrial customers. The Jet Fusion process makes it possible to obtain functional finished parts with various thermal and mechanical properties.

HP machines use a polyamide as a printing material: PA 12 with high reusability. This thermoplastic reduces the total cost of production and allows the production of high quality parts. PA12 from HP is not classified as hazardous 5 and offers a higher reusability rate than the competition.
