Pollen AM is a manufacturer of industrial 3D printers. The company’s machines are now compatible with various materials used in the manufacturing industry. The manufacturer offers the Pam Series MC – the FDM 3D printing solution for metals and ceramics. According to the manufacturer, the 3D printer is the most versatile, and remains capable of handling the widest variety of industrial materials to create functional parts. In fact, in addition to metals and ceramics, the Pam Series MC is compatible with thermoplastics.

Features of the Pam Series MC

The Pam Series MC is designed for the creation of large parts, as evidenced by its print volume of up to 300 x 300 x 300 mm. In terms of dimensions, the 3D printer measures 834 mm in diameter and 925 mm in height for a weight of 95 kg. Pollen AM’s machine is equipped with the necessary equipment for the good printing of an industrial part. Indeed, the number of nozzles can vary between 2 and 4, allowing the use of different materials. The diameters of the nozzle are also in several sizes: 0.25 – 0.40 – 0.60 – 0.80 – 1.00 – 1.20 – 2.00 – 2.50 mm. The maximum temperature of the latter is 450°. The printing plate of the Pam Series MC can go up to 150°C even to 250°C according to the part. Moreover, the printer has a printing speed which can go up to 160 mm/s. The resolution for the Z axis is 40µm, while for the XY axes, it is 5µm. Finally, the Pam Series MC is equipped with Honeyprint and Cura software.
