Top 1: Visiting FELIXprinters in the Netherlands

In the “Inside 3D Tour” series, we meet companies in the additive manufacturing sector from all over the world. For this video, we toured FELIXprinters, a Netherlands-based company that manufactures 3D printers. FELIXprinters is unique for its diverse product range: it creates industrial 3D printers, food 3D printers, bioprinters and custom FDM printers. We spoke with Guillaume Feliksdal, Founder and Co-Director, as well as Jakob Imhof, 3D Printing Technician, to learn more about their work. In this behind-the-scenes look at the company, find out how it got its start, what kinds of projects its customers are doing, and more!

Top 2: COBRA PUMA GOLF’S 3D Printed Golf Clubs

3D printing offers many opportunities for improving sports equipment, and COBRA Puma Golf is just one of the companies taking advantage of the technology. COBRA creates golf equipment through 3D printing, and their team will be present at the next edition of RAPID+TCT in Detroit. We spoke with Ryan Roach, Director of Innovation, to get an exclusive look at the additive manufacturing process of his original golf clubs. If you’re interested in having one of these golf clubs yourself, be sure to register HERE for RAPID + TCT with the “3DNATIVES” promo code to enter a giveaway for a COBRA GOLF LIMIT3D Steel Mallet Tour Prototype Putter, currently being tested on professional tours, and a Full Conference Pass to RAPID + TCT 2025.

Top 3: 3D Printing a Forgotten Icon: Braun Desk Fan

In this video from Distracted By Design, discover one unique way that 3D printing can be used to preserve culture and history while also being functional. Here, the video creator 3D printed a replica of the Braun desk fan. While the vintage product is still available to purchase used, it is now a pricey collector’s item—so this user decided to print one for himself. From design and printing to post-processing and assembly, this video shows it all, including the challenges and rewarding aspects that accompanied the project. Watch this timeless desk fan come to be here:

Top 4: How to Use the Mesh Boolean Tool: Bambu Studio

Bambu Lab users are likely familiar with Bambu Studio, the company’s open source slicer. In this tutorial, learn how to use the mesh boolean tool, which creates new part shapes by performing union, difference and intersection operations on two parts. By mastering this tool, you can bring your designs to a new level, all with minimal difficulty. To learn more about Bambu Studio, find our guide here.

Top 5: 3D Printing a Realistic Sculpture

Giovani Caramello is a Brazilian artist who produces hyper-realistic sculptures in silicone and resin, using his imagination. While he references photos from the internet, he never creates a person who exists in real life. His noble goal is to create his own universe of characters, and for one of his latest works, he leveraged 3D printing to make a character come to life. Using Zbrush, Elegoo Jupiter SE and traditional sculpture skills, he created this sculpture of a man looking up.
