What Is the Perspective of AM Executive Leaders About the Future of the Technology?
We are just over three weeks away from the start of RAPID + TCT 2024 in Los Angeles, California. Everything is almost ready for the biggest additive manufacturing and industrial 3D printing event in North America, which will take place from June 25th to 27th. One of the most awaited aspects of this new edition is the Keynote Series featuring Executive Perspectives panels kicking off each morning on the Main Stage where global industry giants will discuss the future the industry.

Executive Perspectives Keynote Series
The first section of the Keynote Series is the Executive Perspectives. This is a succession of keynotes featuring 15 industry luminaries and thought leaders from the global additive manufacturing ecosystem. The minds shaping the global 3D industry landscape will gather each morning at 8:30 a.m. on the Main Stage to kick off the RAPID + TCT day with a variety of keynote discussions. Don’t miss these inspiring panel discussions to learn about the latest trends and innovations, including some grand predictions about the future of additive manufacturing. The Executive Perspectives Keynote Series will address the hottest topics in the 3D printing industry, such as the technology’s most significant challenges and opportunities. It will also provide an overview of the applications driving the move to large-scale production and the convergence of additive manufacturing with AI and automation. Finally, other aspects that will be addressed include rising trends for enriching human health and wellness, the impact on the supply chain, and the state of sustainability and its long-term potential.

Featured Speakers in additive manufacturing
The second highlight within the Keynote Series is the Featured Speakers, dedicated to spreading knowledge on the development and growth of additive manufacturing in different application areas. These keynotes will take place each day of the show at 1 p.m. on the Main Stage and will be aimed at offering insights and inspiration from the technology. Attendees will learn how leaders from aerospace and consumer goods, along with futurist data will reaffirm the technology’s possibilities, explore inventive opportunities and discuss the key trends shaping the future of industrial 3D printing.
The first Featured Speakers presentation will be delivered on Tuesday, June 25 by Joshua Brost, Chief Revenue Officer of Relativity Space. Entitled “The New Space Race: How Relativity Space is Revolutionizing Rocketry with AM,” this talk will explore the intricate balance between modularity and consolidation and offer guidance for overcoming the challenges of adopting additive manufacturing in aerospace.
The second day’s conference, Wednesday, June 26, will showcase Ryan Roach, Director of Innovation at COBRA PUMA Golf, who will speak on the topic of ” The Story Behind COBRA GOLF’s AM-enabled Golf Clubs.” We will learn how COBRA has turned to AM to improve the performance of golf clubs, achieving significant time savings and setting new standards in the industry.
Finally, on Thursday, June 27, ” Wohlers Perspective: The Latest Trends, Developments, and Strategies” will be presented by Terry Wohlers, Head of Advisory Services and Market Intelligence at Wohlers Associates, powered by ASTM International. In this presentation, you will get an overview of the latest changes in the additive manufacturing industry as well as the most important developments. All of this will be synthesized and supported by industry surveys conducted by Wohlers Associates.
