Middle East Reverse Engineering & Additive Manufacturing Show 2024 to Open Its Doors Tomorrow

Published on September 23, 2024 by Madeleine P.

When the industry talks about regions that are a hotspot for additive manufacturing, often we mention the USA, Western Europe and, of course, China and India. But there is another part of the world that has become one of the fastest adopters of 3D printing: the Middle East. And this is best exemplified by new shows in the area, including the Middle East Reverse Engineering & Additive Manufacturing Show (ReAM) which will be opening tomorrow.

As you can expect from the name, ReAM will be taking place in the Middle East, more specifically in Le Méridien Hotel & Conference Centre in Dubai, UAE. This is particularly fitting considering the ongoing commitment by local governance in Dubai and the wider UAE to implement additive manufacturing in different sectors including transportation and construction. The show will run from Tuesday, September 24th to 26th and is expected to bring together global industry pioneers, thought leaders, and experts from diverse sectors” according to a press release from the show’s organizers.

Moreover, it is being supported by a number of major players in different fields. Notably, ReAM mentions Dubai Municipality and buildingSMART UAE, along with our partners, sponsors and exhibitors including Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park (SRTIP), Incus GmBH, Promech, DMG Mori, Artistic Engineering and Dyze Design.” But what exactly can attendees look forward to at the show?

What to Expect at Middle East Reverse Engineering & Additive Manufacturing (ReAM) 2024?

With a theme of “Localizing Manufacturing Excellence,” it goes without saying that applications and practical use cases for these technologies will be in the spotlight this year. This includes in industries like construction, energy, healthcare, mobility, oil, gas and petrochemicals with the focus being on advancements in both reverse engineering and additive manufacturing. The goal is to have attendees engage in an atmosphere of innovation and networking while discovering how these technologies are shaping the future.

Furthermore, the conference will be featuring a wide array of presentations, discussions and workshops with topics like smart manufacturing, 3D printing and additive manufacturing. These will be given by both academics and industry experts, making it interesting for business looking to adopt these, as well as professionals in various fields. Exhibitors will also be present as they showcase products to this targeted audience with a promised unique blend of “knowledge sharing, networking and collaboration.”

Samuel Benedict of Aldrich Energy, Organizer of Middle East Reverse Engineering & Additive Manufacturing Show 2024, concludes, “More than a conference, this event is an opportunity to witness first-hand the next phase of industrial evolution. From the application of Additive Manufacturing in Renewable Energy Supply Chains to the creation of lighter materials, ReAM Show promises to unveil new possibilities.” You can learn more about the show HERE.
