Meshy $400 million

We just wrote about Meshy’s 3D Agent, which turns photos and prompts into print-ready 3D models, and now, we have another update: the AI 3D model generator announced today that it raised nearly $400 million in a Series B round at a $1.5 billion valuation. According to the company, it’s the largest funding round to date for a company built specifically for AI 3D. The round was backed by a group of leading global investors, with participation from all existing investors. Proceeds target R&D and global market expansion. It is also Meshy’s first publicly disclosed valuation.

As of July 2026, the company’s annual recurring revenue is growing about 12x year over year, with more than 12 million registered users and over 100 million models created. Its models can be used directly in games and are printable as physical objects. Along with the funding round annoucment, Meshy introduced several product updates, including the Meshy 3D Agent that we already covered.

Other updates include:

  • Auto Split: One-click part-splitting for 3D printing. The tool automatically breaks models into printable sections, repairs surfaces, arranges parts on the print bed, and ensures seams align along concealed boundaries. Each part is watertight and printable immediately. It’s available now to all registered users.
  • Smart Topology: Native, cleanly structured geometry generated in about 10 seconds with controllable polygon counts from 100–15,000. Gains in speed, polygon control, and topology make it suited for game development, interactive web, and real-time rendering. It’s also available now to all registered users.
  • 8K Texture: High-resolution texture generation with clean color reproduction and rich surface detail. It’s rolling out soon.

Market Position

Meshy is widely used across gaming, 3D printing, design, and the cultural sector. Its customers and partners include leading game companies such as Nexon, NetEase Games, and 37 Interactive Entertainment; and top 3D printing brands including Bambu Lab, Creality, Elegoo, FlashForge, and xTool. Overall, the company’s goal is to lower the barrier to creation, allowing anyone to generate 3D models, regardless of their experience. And while the company started in 3D, in the future, it aims to go beyond, positioning itself to expand further into the broader creative ecosystem.
