Inside 3D Tour EOS

We’re back with a new episode of our Inside 3D Tour series! As you may know, with these videos, we aim to get a first-hand look at the facilities and production plants of the major companies in additive manufacturing. Talking to different experts, we seek to understand the processes the most cutting-edge technologies in the 3D printing industry undergo and the latest innovations in this field. In the past few months, we have visited a number of different leaders in the field notably in Israel with our trips to Stratasys, Massivit, XJet and SolidCAM. In this new Inside 3D Tour we have moved to Munich, Germany, to visit the headquarters of EOS, one of the leading manufacturers of industrial machines for polymers and metals. Be sure to check out this video to learn more about this key figure in the additive manufacturing scene!

In the Inside 3D Tour, the 3Dnatives team was welcomed by Marie Langer, CEO of EOS, who talked to us about the current state of the company and its positioning in the polymers and metals market. In addition, we took a tour with her around the offices while talking about their commitment to the environment and making their processes more sustainable. Later in the Inside 3D Tour, we met with Bernd Wiedmann, Regional Director for EMEA of EOS, who gave us a tour of the different showrooms of the company. We started with polymers where we talked about the new FDR (Fine Detail Resolution) technology, before moving on to the area dedicated to metals, the great strength of EOS. All this and much more in the video below:
