HP Talks About the Future of Additive Manufacturing

We are on the road just for you, reporting from Formnext, where we are talking with industry-leading manufacturers from the world of additive manufacturing, including global leaders such as HP 3D Printing, with its patented Multi Jet Fusion technology. We visited the company and viewed its 3D printing solution at booth D61 in Hall 12.1. We wanted to know which industries are growing in importance for AM and how the manufacturer plans to position itself on the market in the future. Jens Hübner, AM Application Specialist for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, explains which industries the company focuses on and provides various application examples of MJF technology before. Whatsmore, machines and robotics as well as orthoses and prostheses are among HP’s key industries. In the video, Hübner also explains the importance of material development and additive manufacturing as part of Industry 4.0. Raffi Beglarian, Manager of the DACH and CEMEA markets at HP, also gives a future outlook and explains where the company sees itself in the next 5 years.
