2nd edition ADDITIV Polymers World 2024

The 2nd edition of ADDITIV Polymers World is only a week and a half away! The high-anticipated virtual event delving into the worlds of polymers and 3D printing will be taking place on Thursday, October 10th at 9:00AM – 1:30 PM EDT (3:00PM – 7:30PM CEST). And once again, you can expect to explore various aspects of the use of plastics in additive manufacturing through networking as well as panel discussions and workshops with experts in a number of fields. Register for FREE.

This year, the event promises to be even more exciting thanks to the move to an entirely new platform: Swapcard. Here, attendees will not just be able to network virtually, but even schedule meetings before and after the event with key stakeholders from the polymer AM market. This includes, of course, representatives from sponsors and partners such as ADDMAN, Stratasys, 3devo, KimyaSPE, IAM3DHUB, 3DPrint.com, Wevolver and Voxelmatters. But what about the panel discussions and workshops that are highlighted this year?

The Panel Discussions and Workshops at ADDITIV Polymers World 2024

We are extremely excited to be holding three panel discussions and three workshops at this 2nd edition of ADDITIV Polymers World. This time, we will be able to delve into different topics than the previous edition, exploring new applications and processes in the world of plastic 3D printing. Notably, we will have panel discussions centering around large-format additive manufacturing, applications in the automotive sector and industrialization.

For these panel discussions, we will be welcoming distinguished speakers from various organizations. To discuss large-format additive manufacturing, Avin Quadros from Al Seer Marine (the creators of the world’s largest 3D printed boat), Dr. Susan MacKay from the University of Maine (who have the world’s largest polymer 3D printer) and Doug Coslow from Bell Flight (one of the major companies working on LFAM in aerospace) will be present. Meanwhile, to cover the use of additive manufacturing in the automotive sector, ADDITIV Polymers World will welcome Dr. Nanzhu Zhao from Nissan, Daniel Pisarski from Ford and Jay Dinsmore from ADDMAN. Last but not least, for the panel on industrialization, Michael Pecota, a consultant for the adoption of additive manufacturing for the U.S. Navy, and Serge Senac from Airbus will be able to give their insights.

Workshops will also give users an opportunity to get more in-depth knowledge about solutions relevant to the field. For example, leading filament makers 3devo will be presenting on how to recycle 3D printing waste into filament for more sustainable additive manufacturing. In the second workshop, attendees will be able to listen to Mathiew Merian from Somanity as he discuss the company’s 3D printed exoskeletons, showing the ways that polymer additive manufacturing can be used to transform medical applications. Last but not least, David Harmann from Helio Additive will give a talk on scaling 3D printing through the use of software. You can learn more in the full agenda HERE.

On-demand content will also be available to all who register! This includes insights from the first edition of ADDITIV Polymers World plus exciting content about different aspects of polymer 3D printing including tips for different kinds, exciting applications and more. Be sure to register for free HERE to get access.
