EPMA Powder Metallurgy Summer School

The EPMA Powder Metallurgy Summer School will take place on 17th to 21st July in Dresden, Germany. The event brings together industry experts and scientific researchers with an interest in powder metallurgy. There will be technical discussions and spotlight talks in which young scientists and engineers will hear from experts in the powder metallurgy industry.

The five-day program will include talks from employees of Hoganas, Fraunhofer IFAM, Tegnology, and more. In terms of academia, there will be experts from the Technical University of Vienna, Carlos III University of Madrid, UCLM Spain and many more institutions. Topics will include sintering, post-sintering treatments, modelling, furnace technology, hot isostatic pressing, metal injection molding, and much more.

The fees are as follows:

Academics & Research Centres: 850€
EPMA Members (paid up): 1 100€
Non-Members: 1 500€
End Users*: 850€

The course fee includes all relevant course documents, five nights hotel accommodation (single occupancy), refreshments, a Welcome Reception on Monday and the Summer School networking dinner on Thursday evening.

The fee also includes 18 months’ Student Membership of the EPMA, which enables members to obtain discounted rates at the Euro PM2023 Congress & Exhibition to be held 01-04 October 2023 in Lisboa, Portugal, amongst other benefits.
