While large-format additive manufacturing is gaining ground, can it truly deliver on its promises and transition seamlessly from rapid prototyping to production? BigRep, at the RAPID + TCT trade show, certainly seems to be demonstrating this! They are developing industrial FFF systems designed to seamlessly transition from prototyping to end-use parts, all within the same workflow and on the same equipment.

At the event, the German manufacturer showcased several solutions that support this approach, including the ONE.5 and VIIO 250 industrial machines, as well as the DRYCON filament drying unit, which delivers optimal material performance.

To learn more, we spoke with Jeff Olson, President of BigRep Americas, and Jason Tzintzun, Head of Marketing, Americas. They explained what large-format industrial additive manufacturing actually looks like in a production environment today. In the video below, you will discover how the ONE.5, VIIO 250 and DRYCON solutions can in the same workflow, to manufacture reliable and high-performance end-use parts.
