Stratasys is the pioneer of melt deposition technology: Scott Crump, co-founder of the company, is the originator of this printing process, which consists of depositing successive layers of molten plastic on a platen until the final part is obtained. Stratasys is one of the most recognized players in the additive manufacturing industry, today offering a very wide choice of machines, most of them industrial. The company is also renowned for its PolyJet solutions. The F3300 3D printer was presented to the public for the first time at Formnext 2023: it is an industrial solution which, thanks to its many features, enables very high levels of productivity to be achieved.

Features of the F3300

One of the special features of the F3300 FDM machine is that it includes four extruders for extremely fast print speeds and throughputs. They all incorporate an automatic changeover system to enhance productivity. According to Stratasys, the machine is twice as fast as current solutions on the market.

The 3D plastic printing solution also features material dryers and automatic platen calibration to minimize operator intervention. The platen itself offers a generous print volume of 600 x 600 x 800 mm, enabling you to imagine large-format parts, whatever your sector of activity.

The F3300 is compatible with a wide range of materials, from standard to high-performance: ASA, PC, carbon-fiber-reinforced nylon and even ULTEM, in a variety of colors. This gives us the opportunity to design a multitude of applications, whether for the rail industry, aerospace, functional prototyping or tooling.

Last but not least, the F3300 is equipped with two cameras to monitor the entire printing process and ensure that everything runs smoothly, without interruption. The FDM machine includes GrabCAD Print software, which facilitates the manufacturing workflow by suggesting the best parameters to the operator.
