3DGence are a Polish company dedicated to creating high-quality professional 3D printers. Since their inception in 2014, 3DGence has expanded rapidly and now sells three different 3D printers across Europe. Their INDUSTRY 3D printer was very impressive, earning itself a place on our Top 10 Dual Extruder 3D printers ranking. Now, 3DGence have announced the release of their new 3D printer, the 3DGence DOUBLE.
3DGence DOUBLE
The DOUBLE is another dual extruder 3D printer by 3DGence. It is specially designed to create high-quality and well-detailed prints, and with the dual extruder can print two materials simultaneously. The printer’s accuracy means it can print geometrically complex models without problems.
In addition, the printer includes features that aim to make removing supports as easy as possible with layer lamination. This is helped further by the ability to use soluble materials such as BVOH as supports. This support material is compatible with PLA and PET 3D printer materials, with other materials using HIPS materials instead. Another neat feature is the material flow control system that comes fitted with the printer. This helps print consistency and adds to control over your final print.

Added Convenience
One of the most frustrating things to happen when 3D printing is leaving your print and then coming back to find out the filament has run out, yet the printer has carried on moving as if there is still filament. This usually results in a failed print and restarting the process. However, with the 3DGence DOUBLE’s filament end sensor, prints will automatically pause when the filament is detected to be running out. You can then resume printing once filament has been replaced, saving the print from failing.
3DGence have clearly focused on making the DOUBLE as simple as possible. This shows through the auto-calibration the printer is capable of, and the stunning 4.3″ touchscreen to control the printer. The design looks sleek, it would not be out of place in many room setups.

The printer also comes with its signature 3D software, 3DGence Slicer. This helps to decide print settings based on required vs expected print quality and durability. With a print volume of 190 x 255 x 195 mm, multiple parts can be printed simultaneously if necessary.
