Selective laser sintering has long been a process reserved for industrial users with significant investment capacity. In recent years, SLS has become more accessible thanks to machines that are easier to use and, above all, more affordable. While some obstacles to wider adoption remain, recent innovations are promising. Among them are the solutions developed by the Chinese manufacturer TPM3D. Present again at Formnext, the company used this edition to unveil a new SLS 3D printer and a powder processing station. Their goal is to make SLS technology more accessible and user-friendly.
We had the opportunity to speak with TPM3D’s CEO, Lucy Zhai, who presented their latest innovations and discussed the company’s broader strategy. You can learn more about the CF200, a compact SLS 3D printer, as well as the powder processing station, PPS200.
She also highlighted the main applications showcased at TPM3D’s booth, from footwear manufacturing and electronics to artistic projects. SLS technology opens up endless possibilities. To learn more, visit booth C18 in Hall 11.0 or check out their website HERE.
