The Chinese manufacturer HeyGears has announced the launch of its new Reflex 2 Series resin 3D printers. These additions expand the company’s long-standing portfolio and ecosystem dedicated to resin 3D printing technologies. The range includes two models, the Reflex 2 and Reflex 2 Pro, both designed to move beyond simple prototyping and into production. The Pro version, in particular, targets larger end-part manufacturing, offering a bigger build volume and enhanced surface quality control. With this launch, HeyGears aims to provide professionals with more reliable tools to turn their ideas into reality.
Resin 3D printing has gained popularity in recent years thanks to its precision, high level of detail, and the growing variety of available materials. The market now includes a range of players, particularly desktop printer manufacturers aiming to make the technology more accessible and user-friendly. Among them is HeyGears, known for its 3D printers with automated features tailored to the dental industry and its consumer and small to medium business facing Reflex Series printers, a range of smart and reliable desktop machines that deliver professional quality 3D printed results.

Focus on the Reflex 2 Pro
The manufacturer has expanded its lineup with the Reflex 2 Pro, a 3D printer featuring a print volume of 230 x 144 x 350 mm, which is 2.3 times larger than its predecessor, offering a Z-axis height of 35 cm. One of its most notable innovations is the “1032 OptiZone Light Engine,” which consists of 1,032 individually controlled light zones. This system enables more precise light projection, resulting in optimized resin curing, improved surface consistency, and reduced resin residue.
The Reflex 2 Pro 3D printer is also equipped with a “FOC Motor Module” which, according to HeyGears, “ensures high-precision positioning with 25,600 microsteps per revolution.” The machine should therefore reach higher speeds while ensuring stable printing, which is particularly interesting for mass production.
In terms of applications, the manufacturer explains that the machine is not only ideal for validating prototypes but also for producing finished parts. Its volume makes it particularly interesting for producing shoes, prostheses and orthoses, and protective equipment for sports.

The Characteristics of the Reflex 2
HeyGears has also introduced another model, the Reflex 2. Featuring a print volume of 230 x 144 x 230 mm and a 161 OptiZone Light Engine, it is equipped with Amber Screen Pro technology to ensure reliable results for product designers, studios, and companies that use additive manufacturing in their design processes.
Like the Reflex 2 Pro, this resin 3D printer is compatible with a wide variety of materials, including the new PAH270 resin, notable for its thermal resistance up to 270°C and its strength.
HeyGears concludes: “The launch of the Reflex 2 Series 3D printers marks a key step forward for HeyGears in providing greater 3D printing production capabilities to users around the world. We remain committed to creating an ecosystem of products that enables more creators and makers to achieve their visions and bring their products and ideas to reality with ease.”
