Rapid + TCT 2025 is opening its doors today! Once again taking place in Detroit, the event will bring together the leading voices in additive manufacturing over three days of innovation, networking and expert-led conferences. But with over 400 exhibiting companies, interactive exhibits, talks, networking and more, it can be hard to know where you should start. That’s why we wanted to take a closer look at some of the most exciting things, whether exhibitors or conference sessions, that attendees should not miss at RAPID + TCT this year. We have outlined them below in no particular order.
The Executive Perspectives Keynote Series
The Executive Perspectives Keynote Series is back! After its resounding success at RAPID + TCT 2024, once again attendees to the event will be able to hear panels each morning with industry experts and thought leaders in additive manufacturing, discussing the impact of 3D printing, its future and of course how the technologies are being used in various sectors. For 2025, speakers will come from a variety of backgrounds including the Additive Manufacturing Coalition, Acuity Surgical, Impossible Objects EOS, AddUp, McLaren, Materialise, Formlabs, the Mayo Clinic, HP and much, much more. The perfect way to start each day at RAPID + TCT 2025.

Project DIAMOnD With Automation Alley
Have you heard of Project DIAMOnD? Standing for “Distributed, Independent, Agile Manufacturing on Demand,” this Michigan-based initiative works to make the process of taking a product from conception to realization more accessible, targeting both established players looking to move into additive manufacturing and even those with non-traditional background working to enter the field. Born out of the pandemic from Automation Alley, the program adopts the principles of Industry 4.0 and provides a localized solution for many issues in the area. Already the project has seen much success, with everything from masks during the pandemic to tourniquets for Ukraine, now it is expecting to expand what is already the largest open, distributed and decentralized network in the country. And now you can come see what the fuss is about at RAPID + TCT. Automation Alley will have a booth at the event, #3436, as well as a session on “Transforming Manufacturing With Distributed 3D Printing Networks.” Find them on their own turf at RAPID + TCT!
The New H2D 3D Printer From Bambu Lab Will Be Present at RAPID + TCT 2025
It is safe to say that the new H2D 3D printed from Bambu Lab was one of the most anticipated launches of 2025. Since its unveiling, it has been the source of much discourse, especially due to its all-in-one approach to creative pursuits thanks to the fact that it is not just a 3D printer but also integrates a laser cutter and engraver. And it will be possible to see it in action at RAPID + TCT! The full H2D lineup will be present in Detroit, perfect for anyone looking for a chance to upgrade existing Bambu Lab hardware or those hoping to use Bambu Lab as a springboard into additive manufacturing capabilities. Be sure to catch it at booth #2101.

Rapid LIquid Print (RLP)’s New Levity Machine
We told you about Rapid Liquid Print, a first time exhibitor at RAPID + TCT, a few weeks ago. The company has been making quite a name for itself thanks to its Gravity Free Manufacturing which is able to eliminate post-processing, support structures and material waste. RLP will be showcasing its new Levity Machine on the show floor, which will begin shipping in 2026. Attendees at RAPID + TCT 2025 will be able to see firsthand how the solution is not only safer and faster than other 3D printing technologies but also how it can be used in everything from heavy industry to healthcare. Don’t miss the company at booth #2541.
Cobra Golf’s Session at RAPID + TCT 2025
COBRA PUMA GOLF has turned the golfing world on its head with its innovative 3D printed irons, including at RAPID + TCT 2024 where attendees were able to test them out in an interactive exhibit. And now the company is back again! Ryan Roach, the Director of Innovation at Cobra Golf, will be giving a talk, “How COBRA Changed the Game by Creating the LIMIT3D Irons,” focusing on the company’s first ever 3D printed iron set, which was launched in June 2024. The session will be one not to miss for anyone interested in golf or who is interested in seeing how additive manufacturing can be used in sports-based applications. Do note, that this session is only available with a conference pass.

The AM Industry Celebration at RAPID + TCT 2025
Eagerly anticipated each year, the AM Industry Celebration is called the “AM celebration of the year!” for a reason. Previous editions have seen marching bands, incredible acts and more and this year looks to be about the same. According to the organization, there will be “endless food, fun and friends; live entertainment and performers; and unforgettable moments” as attendees come together to toast the bright and promising future of additive manufacturing. A sure highlight of the three days at RAPID + TCT!
