Mentre sul web si moltiplicano i confronti con il Galaxy Z Fold8 di Samsung, per il settore della produzione additiva la vera novit\u00e0 riguarda uno dei componenti chiave dei dispositivi pieghevoli: la cerniera.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La copertura della cerniera di iPhone Duo \u00e8 stampata in 3D in titanio di grado 5 riciclato al 100%. La finitura mediante micropallinatura crea un contrasto con la lucidatura a specchio del resto del telaio. Nel complesso, la cerniera comprende oltre 100 componenti.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">L\u2019aspetto pi\u00f9 interessante arriva per\u00f2 nella fase successiva. Durante la presentazione del prodotto, Johny Srouji, Senior Vice President of Hardware Technologies di Apple, ha spiegato che un laser confocale scansiona la topologia di ogni unit\u00e0 e deposita fino a 25 microstrati di un fotopolimero sviluppato su misura per eliminare l\u2019ondulazione residua. Algoritmi di intelligenza artificiale abbinano inoltre ogni cerniera alla scocca che meglio si adatta alle sue caratteristiche.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_86769\" style=\"width: 710px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-86769\" class=\"wp-image-86769 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.3dnatives.com\/es\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/iphone-duo.jpg\" alt=\"iphone duo\" width=\"700\" height=\"400\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-86769\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">L\u2019interno di iPhone Duo: la cerniera, composta da oltre 100 componenti, affianca il nuovo chip A20 Pro e una camera di vapore per la dissipazione del calore.<\/p><\/div>\n<h2>Honor e OPPO sono arrivate prima<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Se questa soluzione vi sembra familiare, \u00e8 perch\u00e9 ne avevamo gi\u00e0 parlato a marzo. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.3dnatives.com\/it\/stampa-3d-nuovo-smartphone-oppo-30032026\/\">OPPO<\/a> ha applicato lo stesso principio al Find N6 con quella che definisce Liquid 3D Printing. Il processo prevede una scansione laser e la successiva deposizione di gocce di fotopolimero da 5 picolitri. L\u2019operazione viene ripetuta circa 20 volte per rendere perfettamente piana la base dello schermo. Due produttori sono quindi arrivati alla stessa conclusione.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">E non sono gli unici. Nel 2023 <strong>Honor<\/strong> aveva gi\u00e0 aperto la strada con la cerniera in titanio del Magic V2, realizzata mediante fusione laser a letto di polvere (LPBF). Si \u00e8 trattato della prima applicazione della produzione additiva nella produzione in serie di elettronica di consumo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Samsung, il principale concorrente di Apple nel settore degli smartphone pieghevoli, non ha comunicato l\u2019impiego della produzione additiva nel Galaxy Z Fold8. Per il meccanismo pieghevole ha invece scelto una pellicola in lega di titanio collocata sotto il pannello.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Per <strong>Apple<\/strong>, tutto questo non \u00e8 frutto di una scelta improvvisata. Nel <a href=\"https:\/\/www.apple.com\/newsroom\/2025\/11\/mapping-the-future-with-3d-printed-titanium-apple-watch-cases\/\">novembre 2025<\/a>, l\u2019azienda aveva spiegato di essere passata alla stampa 3D mediante LPBF per tutte le casse in titanio di Apple Watch Ultra 3 e Series 11. I risultati ottenuti hanno poi portato Apple a utilizzare la stampa 3D anche per la porta USB-C di iPhone Air.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La stessa azienda riconosce di sperimentare la produzione additiva da circa dieci anni, in attesa che la tecnologia raggiungesse i propri standard di qualit\u00e0 e i volumi produttivi richiesti.
