L&#8217;idea \u00e8 posizionare l&#8217;impianto in prossimit\u00e0 del tumore, in modo che il farmaco agisca localmente senza disperdersi nell&#8217;organismo. Per il momento, la sperimentazione \u00e8 stata condotta esclusivamente su colture di cellule di <a href=\"https:\/\/www.3dnatives.com\/it\/applicazioni-stampa-3d-lotta-cancro-seno-201020239\/\">tumore al seno<\/a> in laboratorio.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lo studio \u00e8 stato pubblicato sulla rivista Pharmaceutical Research e si concentra su due innovazioni: una tecnica di stampa 3D chiamata FRESH e un tipo di nanotrasportatore noto come &#8220;Spanlastics&#8221;. Ciascuna di queste capsule misura tra i 200 e i 300 nanometri. Lungo il percorso, per\u00f2, attacca anche altre cellule a rapida divisione: quelle del cuoio capelluto, del rivestimento intestinale, della pelle. Da qui la caduta dei capelli, la nausea, il vomito e l&#8217;anemia che spesso accompagnano il trattamento. &#8220;La chemioterapia \u00e8 sempre una questione delicata per la gravit\u00e0 degli effetti collaterali&#8221;, afferma Jaidev Chakka, ricercatore principale della Facolt\u00e0 di Farmacia di Ole Miss e uno degli autori dello studio. &#8220;La domanda alla base di questo lavoro \u00e8 come ridurli.&#8221;<\/p><div class=\"dnati-inside-article dnati-entity-placement\" style=\"text-align: center;\" id=\"dnati-2077394734\"><div id=\"dnati-2603635751\"><a data-no-instant=\"1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.3dnatives.com\/it\/concorso-del-3dnatives-lab-vinci-una-stampante-3d\/?utm_source=website&#038;utm_medium=banner&#038;utm_campaign=flashforge_adventurer5mpro&#038;lang=it\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" class=\"a2t-link\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"LB (IT)\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.3dnatives.com\/it\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2026\/06\/LB-IT-1.gif\" alt=\"\"  width=\"850\" height=\"150\"   \/><\/a><\/div><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La soluzione proposta \u00e8 far avvicinare il <a href=\"https:\/\/www.3dnatives.com\/it\/farmaci-stampati-in-3d-futuro-medicina-personalizzata-021220249\/\">farmaco<\/a> al tumore. Se l&#8217;impianto viene posizionato in prossimit\u00e0 della massa tumorale, il principio attivo si concentra localmente anzich\u00e9 agire sull\u2019intero organismo. Le capsule, grazie alle loro dimensioni, riescono ad attraversare la membrana cellulare e a rilasciare il contenuto direttamente all&#8217;interno della cellula cancerosa, cio\u00e8 dove i chemioterapici devono agire. &#8220;Se il farmaco non penetra nella cellula, il suo effetto \u00e8 nullo&#8221;, sintetizza Chakka. &#8220;Incapsulandolo, lo proteggiamo inoltre dalla degradazione e ne introduciamo una quantit\u00e0 significativa all&#8217;interno della cellula in un&#8217;unica soluzione.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Il team, guidato da Mo Maniruzzaman, professore ordinario di Farmaceutica e Rilascio di Farmaci presso l&#8217;ateneo, ritiene che la tecnica sarebbe particolarmente utile nei tumori diagnosticati precocemente, prima della comparsa di metastasi. Un impianto locale risulta infatti poco efficace quando la malattia si \u00e8 gi\u00e0 diffusa.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Per il momento, ci\u00f2 che \u00e8 stato verificato \u00e8 il comportamento del farmaco in vitro, ovvero su cellule isolate. &#8220;Sarebbe necessario testarlo su modelli in vivo prima di pensare ai pazienti, e non \u00e8 un processo attuabile in tempi brevi&#8221;, precisa Elom Doe, dottoranda al terzo anno in Scienze Farmaceutiche e coautrice dello studio.
