Abbiamo visto, di recente, i robot sviluppato dall&#8217;Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT) di Genova: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.3dnatives.com\/it\/filobot-robot-pianta-stampa-3d-140220239\/\">FiloBot<\/a>, capace di crescere come una pianta o <a href=\"https:\/\/www.3dnatives.com\/it\/robot-stampa-4d-istituto-italiano-tecnologia-030520239\/\">I-Seed<\/a>, il robot 4D ispirato ai semi capace di analizzare il terreno e adattarsi a esso. <\/span>Ma vediamo nel dettaglio come \u00e8 stato costruito questo nuovo soft robot autonomo <span class=\"relative -mx-px my-[-0.2rem] rounded-sm px-px py-[0.2rem]\">dell&#8217;Universit\u00e0 della California.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-19691 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.3dnatives.com\/it\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2025\/04\/monolithic-robot.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.3dnatives.com\/it\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2025\/04\/monolithic-robot.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.3dnatives.com\/it\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2025\/04\/monolithic-robot-600x343.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.3dnatives.com\/it\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2025\/04\/monolithic-robot-160x91.jpg 160w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/>La sfida di stampare in 3D un robot monolitico e autonomo<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I ricercatori dell&#8217;<span class=\"relative -mx-px my-[-0.2rem] rounded-sm px-px py-[0.2rem]\">Universit\u00e0 della California hanno voluto affrontare una sfida: stampare in 3D un robot autonomo e in un unico pezzo.\u00a0 <\/span>La fabbricazione completamente automatizzata di robot \u00e8 da tempo un sogno per i ricercatori, con il potenziale di rivoluzionare diversi settori, tra cui la produzione, l&#8217;edilizia, i soccorsi in caso di calamit\u00e0 e l&#8217;esplorazione spaziale. La stampa 3D offre oggi un approccio promettente all&#8217;automazione, ma la capacit\u00e0 di stampare robot completi e complessi con pi\u00f9 materiali rimane limitata.<\/p><div class=\"dnati-inside-article dnati-entity-placement\" style=\"text-align: center;\" id=\"dnati-2815889258\"><div id=\"dnati-2299507447\"><a data-no-instant=\"1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.3dnatives.com\/it\/concorso-del-3dnatives-lab-vinci-una-stampante-3d\/?utm_source=website&#038;utm_medium=banner&#038;utm_campaign=flashforge_adventurer5mpro&#038;lang=it\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" class=\"a2t-link\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"LB (IT)\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.3dnatives.com\/it\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2026\/06\/LB-IT-1.gif\" alt=\"\"  width=\"850\" height=\"150\"   \/><\/a><\/div><\/div>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"110\" data-end=\"364\">Generalmente, per <a href=\"https:\/\/www.3dnatives.com\/it\/robot-stampa-3d-280320249\/\">stampare in 3D robot<\/a> vengono usati circuiti di controllo fluidici, ovvero ad aria, ma che richiedono processi e materiali complessi, nonch\u00e9 la necessit\u00e0 di montare i pezzi a mano. Questo li rende difficili da replicare e poco accessibili. Inoltre, se consideriamo i robot che camminano, farli camminare su terreni irregolari \u00e8 ancora difficile, perch\u00e9 servono movimenti ripetitivi e ben coordinati.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"110\" data-end=\"364\">Studi pi\u00f9 recenti, incluso questo, hanno quindi iniziato a usare la stampa 3D per creare parti di un robot con circuiti gi\u00e0 integrati. Nello specifico, lo studio dell&#8217;<span class=\"relative -mx-px my-[-0.2rem] rounded-sm px-px py-[0.2rem]\">Universit\u00e0 della California<\/span> propone una nuova soluzione: un oscillatore pneumatico stampato in 3D che funziona con l\u2019aria compressa e riesce a generare un movimento sincronizzato delle zampe del robot, senza bisogno di elettronica. Il robot che ne risulta \u00e8 completamente stampato in 3D, non richiede assemblaggio, e pu\u00f2 camminare su terreni accidentati semplicemente collegandolo a una fonte d\u2019aria.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" data-start=\"110\" data-end=\"364\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/f8hTK7AabM8?si=emXRyKXJmJiRtW9e\" width=\"700\" height=\"400\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1018\" data-end=\"1213\">Ma non \u00e8 tutto, i ricercatori hanno anche vinto una sfida in termini di accessibilit\u00e0 e sostenibilit\u00e0: il robot \u00e8 stato stampato su una comune <a href=\"https:\/\/www.3dnatives.com\/it\/top-stampanti-3d-economiche-051120219\/\">stampante desktop FFF,<\/a> con <a href=\"https:\/\/www.3dnatives.com\/it\/tpu-stampa-3d-080920219\/\">TPU<\/a> in 58 ore. Dopo la stampa, il robot non ha richiesto n\u00e9 assemblaggio, n\u00e9 post-processing risultando subito pronto per entrare in azione. I ricercatori l&#8217;hanno quindi collegato a una fonte di C02 che, combinata con un regolatore meccanico, ha fornito al robot una fonte regolare di gas e pressione per generare movimento. <span style=\"font-size: 1em;\">Il robot \u00e8 stato in grado anche di <\/span>camminare all\u2019aperto<span style=\"font-size: 1em;\">, attraversando superfici come sabbia, erba, e persino acqua.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1018\" data-end=\"1213\">Questa ricerca, seppur sperimentale, rappresenta un grande passo avanti verso soft robot pi\u00f9 facili da realizzare, personalizzabili, ecologici e utilizzabili subito dopo la stampa, anche senza conoscenze tecniche avanzate e con un budget ridotto.
