You’re invited! Our next meetup is already in the works: Tuesday the 25 of November, we’ll talk about how 3D Printing can broaden Museums’ horizons. Save the date!
3D Printing is an incredible technology. We know that. It is helpful in so many fields that its hard to quantify. Medicine, architecture, jewelry… but the cultural field is becoming more and more prevalent. 3D Printing is not only a great way for artists to give their creativity free rein but it’s also an efficient way for Museums to extend their range of possibilities.
Last September, The Cité de l’Architecture and Sculpteo launched their partnership. In order to restore a XIXth century mockup the museum chose to raise funds through a Crowdfunding platform. Sculpteo, thanks to 3D Scanning and 3D Printing, gave them great communication tools.
It’s not the first time Sculpteo collaborated with museums, and it is not going to be the last time.
That’s why Guillaume de la Broïse, sponsorship manager at the famous Cité de l’Architecture will be there to talk about this collaboration during our next Meetup.
There will also be some surprise guests. And they are going to be fascinating for sure.
Tuesday the 25th of November, from 6 to 8 pm, at Maison des mines et des Ponts et chaussées.
There won’t be room for everyone, so hurry up and register!
