They\u00a0hope to respond to the housing shortage affecting the San Francisco Bay Area.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Emerging Objects had already made a name for itself in the field of architecture when it presented its\u00a03D printed structures able to withstand earthquakes\u00a0.\u00a0The American company specializes in 3D printing of living or working spaces, focusing on materials that are more respectful and friendlier to the environment;\u00a0we can remember its use of\u00a0tires as a printing material.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7870\" src=\"https:\/\/www.3dnatives.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/cabin3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"450\" cabin full of surprises<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This time, Emerging Objects presents\u00a0<em>The Cabin of Curiosities,<\/em>\u00a0which is composed of 4,500 ceramic-printed 3D tiles.\u00a0It would be solid, waterproof and completely habitable, in addition to being rather pleasant to see and visit.\u00a0The facade tiles have been printed in 3D from a mixture of cement, sawdust, salt and even grape skins.<\/p><div class=\"dnati-inside-article-leaderboard\" style=\"text-align: center;\" id=\"dnati-905810025\"><a data-no-instant=\"1\" href=\"https:\/\/us06web.zoom.us\/webinar\/register\/3717757396787\/WN_sBfwcCHoQSq1mEANYpWa6Q\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"a2t-link\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"LB (3)\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.3dnatives.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/04\/LB-3.gif\" alt=\"\"  width=\"850\" height=\"150\"   \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The front exterior looks like a real garden: tiles in the triangular part of the wall have been designed to hold small plants, while on the roof and sides the tiles are more like stitches.\u00a0Emerging Objects wanted to create a rather uneven aesthetic to give the hut a very artisanal side.\u00a0For example, the company claims that there are not two identical https:\/\/www.3dnatives.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/cabin-160x91.jpg 160w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-7869\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Some tiles are reminiscent of sewing stitches<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Inside, the walls were printed in 3D from translucent bioplastics composed of custom relief textures and colour changing LED lights.\u00a0These translucent walls would fill the cabin with light, which would make it even more spacious.\u00a0The interior of the house also features several 3D printed decoration elements by Emerging Objects.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7873\" src=\"https:\/\/www.3dnatives.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/cabin5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"400\" designers at The Cabin of Curiosity and co-founder of Emerging Objects, Ronald Rael, explains: &#8221;\u00a0<em>It&#8217;s not just a study of longevity or the structure of materials, it&#8217;s also a study of &#8216;aesthetic.\u00a0We see the future as elegant, optimistic and beautiful<\/em>\u00a0.\u00a0This project would bring all these points together, thanks to 3D printing.\u00a0The manufacturing method offers more possibilities in terms of customisation: we could find this cabin at the end of our garden or create a larger one to respond to the housing crisis that affects the world today.\u00a0An initiative reminiscent of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.3dnatives.com\/en\/3d-printed-houses-new-story-icon-140320184\/\">New Story and ICON<\/a>\u00a0who wish to build homes of
