Its VROM technology (Vertical Resonant Oscillatory Mixing) oscillates at 60Hz and reaches up to 100g, enabling bladeless, high-frequency mixing of powders, liquids, and pastes. By using pressure waves instead of blades or tumbling, the system creates more consistent mixing throughout the material.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We visited the Montana Mixers booth to see the technology in action and spoke with Dr. Peter Lucon, CIO and Founding Partner, about what sets resonant mixing apart. From metal powders for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.3dnatives.com\/en\/direct-metal-laser-sintering100420174-2\/\">laser powder bed fusion<\/a> to polymer blends, printable inks, and slurry suspensions, the approach is designed to improve homogeneity and reduce common challenges like particle segregation, while scaling from R&amp;D to production through its MixOS\u2122 software platform.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Together, these capabilities highlight how Montana Mixers is positioning material preparation as a critical step in additive manufacturing.
