The 8,000 square meter plant will increase production of Avimetal’s metal 3D printers and serve as a key site for new product development and process optimization. According to the company, the facility will allow for the production of over 300 machines annually, a move that strengthens its position in the industrial AM market.

Alongside the new plant, Avimetal also revealed that it has relocated its corporate headquarters to a new standalone facility in Beijing. This new headquarters will now serve as the main hub for research and development across its powder materials, AM systems, and industrial software teams. The relocation is expected to help streamline internal logistics and improve operational efficiency, particularly as the company continues to expand its product portfolio and customer base.

Avimetal’s range of metal AM machines, alongside its advanced powder production equipment

Founded in 2015, Avimetal has developed a vertically integrated production network across China, including three main facilities focused on powder production, machine development, and full-system support. The company currently produces more than 200 types of metal powder alloys, including titanium & aluminum, cobalt-chrome, and refractory metals like tungsten and molybdenum.
