It\u2019s been just over a week since ADDITIV Metals World<\/strong>, and the energy from the event is still fresh in our minds. The event was a great reminder of how quickly the additive manufacturing landscape evolves, especially in the field of metals. The half-day virtual event was fully dedicated to the advantages, impact and applications of metal AM, and was put on with the help of our sponsors InssTek<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0Materialise<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0Hiperbaric<\/span>,<\/span> and partners SPE, <\/span>ASTM, AMGTA<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>Metal<\/span>\u00a0AM, Wevolver and 3Dprint.com!<\/span><\/p>\n

Over four and a half hours, participants attended workshops and panel discussions covering various topics in metal 3D printing. Key themes included the potential of metal AM technologies in transportation, optimizing metal AM workflows and exploring how the technology enables the creation of lightweight, high-performance parts. In the workshops, experienced speakers discussed how 3D printing software can automate production and maximize return on investment. They also delved into the latest advancements in multi-material manufacturing using Directed Energy Deposition (DED)<\/a> and highlighted how Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP) improves the quality and durability of metal AM components.<\/p>\n

As always, we\u2019re happy to share the feedback we gathered from participants, and we\u2019re pleased to say that once again this year the results were outstanding: over 860 people registered, with around 400 actively engaging on the event platform. The panels and workshops were highly appreciated by attendees, with 92% rating the experience at least four out of five stars. What’s more, the speaker lineup itself stood out as a major highlight, with more than 60% of attendees rating the 15 experts 5 stars. ADDITIV Metals World was indeed proud to feature contributions from distinguished professionals and renowned companies, sharing best practices in the use of additive manufacturing<\/a> across multiple industries. Among the organizations represented were NASA<\/a>, Eaton Aerospace, Boeing, Nissan, AMGTA<\/a>, Politecnico di Torino, WABTEC Corporation, HOWCO, Alstom, ASTM, and more!<\/p>

Among the feedback shared by participants, several highlights emerged. Many appreciated the well-balanced mix of topics, speakers, and international representation, noting that the program offered a truly global perspective. In addition to the quality of the content, the networking aspect was mentioned as a major strength, offering meaningful exchanges, valuable feedback and diverse perspectives from people in a wide range of roles across the industry.<\/p>\n

The more than 860 registrants came from many different sectors, including the 3D printing industry, aerospace<\/a>, education and automotive<\/a>, being the principal.<\/span><\/p>\n
