And what a show it was. While there, we saw some incredible applications while also learning about the most important trends in additive manufacturing in China. But that was not all! We also had the opportunity to check out some exciting 3D printers at TCT Asia.

In this video, we went through some of our favorite 3D printers at TCT Asia. From ultra-fast FFF machines to cutting-edge metal 3D printing solutions, there was something for everyone. We start with the Falcon 3D printer, which surprised us with its speed, with a jogging speed of 1000 mm/s and a printing speed of 500mm/s. We then moved to the FDM-F110, a compact 3D printer which allows users to send models straight from their phones.

Moving to the more industrial, we also checked out the AJ1250 from KOCEL. A binder jetting solution, it is suited for large-scale manufacturing, printing parts of up to 1250 by 1250 by 800 mm. It is particularly suited for work in foundries as it is compatible with materials like quartz sand, silica sand, ceramic sand and chrome and can be used for mass production, R&D and small-batch sand casting.

Last but not least, we saw the LDM16RD from Raycham. Using the patented Laser Direct Manufacturing (LDM) technology, the company claims that the process is similar to DED while 30 times faster than Selective Laser Melting. This is possible thanks to a high-powered laser that exceeds 1kW, allowing for impressive strength in the final part. The solution is compatible with stainless steel, titanium, nickel and cobalt-chrome alloys.

So there you have it! The most interesting 3D printers that we saw at TCT Asia. With over 450 exhibitors present on the show floor, it was not easy to choose, but it made the increasing importance of China in the additive manufacturing sector even more evident.

What do you think of these 3D printers at TCT Asia?
