Axtra3D<\/a> is a young AM company based in the USA and Italy that specializes in high-speed SLA systems. The start-up’s flagship product, the Lumia X1 printing system, combines Hybrid PhotoSynthesis polymerization with TruLayer, a technology for layer separation. The special thing about this printing process is that it uses a laser, like classic SLA, and a display for exposure, like DLP. The strengths of the respective technologies are thus combined in one process, which is reflected in the quality of the components. These are characterized by their accuracy, resolution and surface precision.
