Andy Harkison, Director of Product Management, and AJ Frisell, Advanced Application Engineer, from Evolve Additive Solutions, joined us for a discussion on how AM is a viable additive alternative to injection molding.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">More specifically, they covered <a href=\"https:\/\/www.3dnatives.com\/en\/evolve-additive-solutions-step-technology-agile-production-260220244\/\">Evolve\u2019s STEP (Selective Thermoplastic Electrophotographic Process) Technology<\/a>, which was developed specifically for production applications and scale. The presentation included an analysis and comparison of the mechanical properties, fidelity, and accuracy of STEP parts as compared to parts produced by injection molding or other additive processes \u2013 as well as highlighted winning use cases and applications where the combination of STEP quality and production capacity provide the ideal solution.
