Held in Frankfurt every year, Formnext is undoubtedly the largest professional additive manufacturing event in the world. During the fifth edition of Formnext in 2019, the 3Dnatives team had the opportunity to see first-hand the most important trends in the 3D printing industry. We were able to observe growth in the development of advanced materials such as ceramics and silicone, as well as witness the rise of additive metal manufacturing from large industrial companies. We also witness observed the massive potential that large-scale 3D printing has \u2014 being able to create impressively large parts, such as for a life-size car.
