This Afternoon, 3D Hubs made their big announcement that they will be the first online platform to bring HP\u2019s Multi-Jet Fusion Technology to the market. Thanks to this agreement, Multi Jet Fusion Technology will become more locally accessible to designers and engineers, as they will be using a network of HP Multi-Jet Fusion Hubs that are based throughout Europe and North America. Their partnering service providers from North America and Europe include Kurz, My3DPart, 3id, and Go Proto.<\/p>\n

Since HP\u2019s reveal in 2014 of their Multi Jet Fusion printing process, they have been working hard to further develop themselves in the 3D printing industry. This year alone there has been a string of announcements such as at RAPID +TCT fair for their HP Partner First 3D Printing Specialization Program<\/a> and again at the Die & Mould China 2017, unveiling their planned expansion into the Asia-Pacific region<\/a>.<\/p>\n

When introducing the Multi-Jet Fusion Technology, HP described it as a powder binding process that uses an energy source, enabling it to create a product 25 times faster than the FDM<\/a>\u00a0printing process and 10 times faster than powder sintering. In addition, HP says that they have a higher reusability of powder and an increased part strength, which is all thanks to HP\u2019s proprietary fusing agent.<\/p>

The first material that will be available will be the PA 12 Nylon in Grey and Black, but as more materials, detailing agents and new colors are released, 3D Hubs will then update them as needed. In addition, in order to let users try out this technology, 3D Hubs is offering a discount on all HP orders until early next month.<\/p>\n
