The tire, which is airless, has a biomimetic structure and could have the ability to reprint its tread, depending on the weather conditions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">This isn\u2019t the first time Michelin has dabbled in additive metal; having already announced a joint venture with Fives Michelin Additive Solutions a few years ago, which later become AddUp. The goal of this project was to ensure the development and commercialization of industrial production machines and workshops that use metallic additive manufacturing technology. Today, the group is now interested in the manufacturing of a \u00a0new tire, the &#8216;Michelin Visionary Concept&#8217;.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_2252\" style=\"width: 630px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2252\" class=\"wp-image-2252 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.3dnatives.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/c-1-7.jpg\" alt=\"Michelin\" width=\"620\" height=\"413\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.3dnatives.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/c-1-7.jpg 620w, https:\/\/www.3dnatives.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/c-1-7-160x107.jpg 160w, https:\/\/www.3dnatives.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/c-1-7-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 620px) 100vw, 620px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-2252\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Their tire prototype<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Michelin has put out all the stops with their tire, making it airless, recyclable, puncture-proof and strong; thanks to the unique shapes that make up the tire.
