A number of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.3dnatives.com\/en\/3d-printed-masks-and-ventilators-200320204\/\">initiatives<\/a> are attempting to create 3D printed masks, goggles, face shields, door handles and more to protect medical staff and those that come into contact with the COVID-19 virus:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ChXWmw4nHxI\" width=\"700\" height=\"400\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h4>Top 2: Ford uses 3D printing to make face shields<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In its advanced manufacturing centre, the car manufacturer Ford is running its 3D printers at full speed to support the medical profession. It prints several face shields, based on the same model as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.3dnatives.com\/en\/prusa-medical-shields-covid-19-200320205\/\">Prusa&#8217;s<\/a>. Ford uses its industrial machines, whether its\u00a0 Stratasys FDM solutions or SLS printers from the manufacturer EOS.
