They manufacture solutions for a variety of medical products, you can use their system for prototyping or to create personalised human <a href=\"https:\/\/www.3dnatives.com\/en\/best-3d-printed-implants-230720195\/\">implants<\/a>. Recently, the company unveiled its new machine, the Kumovis R1, based on Fused Layer Manufacturing &#8211; a subtype of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.3dnatives.com\/en\/fused-deposition-modeling100420174\/\">Fused Deposition Modeling<\/a> &#8211;\u00a0 developed for industrial &amp; medical applications that use high performance plastics such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.3dnatives.com\/en\/3d-materials-peek-ultem-170120194\/\">PEEK<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kumovis R1, for medical and industrial applications<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In fact, this new 3D printer should enable medical technicians to develop products that fit their needs and meet the industry\u2019s strict requirements. This system should allow users to heat up the build chamber homogeneously up to 482\u00b0F (250\u00b0C), improving on the layer adhesion amongst other things. Stefan Leonhardt continues, \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition, with partners such as the software experts from Hyperganic, we will be able to provide rapid access to individualized medical products, and consequently help creating added value for patients and doctors alike<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u201d The software-based print control, named Hyperganic Print, users will be able to optimise prints across the part. The interface has been developed to allow them to customise and automate their processes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Kumovis R1 has been available since August 1st, 2019.
