The company revealed that it has now launched a new 3D printer: the Origin One. The Origin One is based on Programmable Photopolymerization (P<sup>3<\/sup>) technology and has a not so large but quite tall building volume of 192 x 108 x 350 mm.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The company has also announced a new partnership with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.3dnatives.com\/en\/ecco-launches-3d-shoes-260320184\/\">ECCO,<\/a> one of the largest shoe manufacturers in Denmark. This new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.3dnatives.com\/en\/stereolithography-explained100420174\/\">SLA\/DLP<\/a> 3D printer aims to make high-volume 3D printing possible as explained by Jakob M\u00f8ller Hansen, Vice President Research &amp; Development at ECCO, \u201c<em>We expect Origin\u2019s open additive approach will enable us to reduce development time, lower costs, and accelerate our time-to-market<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/gwVKoxxZGk8\" width=\"700\" height=\"400\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Founded in 2015, the US startup identified the issue of closed solutions in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.3dnatives.com\/en\/3d-technologies\/\">additive manufacturing<\/a> sector. For example, manufacturers producing materials exclusively compatible with their machines. To meet this challenge, the startup had the brilliant idea of creating a platform that would take the form of an open ecosystem to offer custom-made materials. Its broad network of partners allowed the platform to expand its range of materials considerably. In addition, the platform provides manufacturing customers flexibility in terms of the parts they can produce, higher printing speed and more efficient post-processing.<\/p><div class=\"dnati-inside-article-leaderboard\" style=\"text-align: center;\" id=\"dnati-3313114577\"><a data-no-instant=\"1\" href=\"https:\/\/us06web.zoom.us\/webinar\/register\/3717757396787\/WN_sBfwcCHoQSq1mEANYpWa6Q\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"a2t-link\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"LB (3)\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.3dnatives.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/04\/LB-3.gif\" alt=\"\"  width=\"850\" height=\"150\"   \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Its last partnership with BASF showcased exactly that. At the time, Arnaud Gu\u00e9dou, Commercial Director of Photopolymer Solutions at BASF 3D Printing Solutions has said, \u201c<em>We\u2019re really excited about Origin\u2019s open platform and are investing a lot in this partnership. We plan to work with Origin to optimize our photopolymers and other additive materials to create a whole series of new options for high volume manufacturers.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This time around, Origin is partnering with ECCO to develop a new approach to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.3dnatives.com\/en\/3d-printing-in-footwear-disrupting-industry-020120194\/\">manufacturing footwear<\/a>. ECCO will be using Origin\u2019s 3D printing platform with BASF\u2019s materials at their Research &amp; Development department in Denmark. By <strong>decoupling material development and printing<\/strong>, Origin delivers a\u00a0far broader choice-set of materials specifications\u00a0(including custom materials), at costs sufficiently lower to enable mass production.
