The UK-headquartered company is specialised in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.3dnatives.com\/en\/3d-materials-peek-ultem-170120194\/\">PEEK and PAEK polymer<\/a> products and is trying to develop new applications in order to commercialise these products.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The CEO at Victrex, Jakob Sigurdsson said, \u201c<i>Our investment in Bond\u2019s 3D technology is a logical way to accelerate 3D printed PAEK\/PEEK parts to market. Apparently, it should be possible to create functional, strong parts that maximise component performance. Also, the functional parts made of PEEK will have excellent mechanical properties, including in the z-direction.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The first applications the companies have in mind are in the spine and semiconductor segments. In the future, printing functional parts from PEEK grades should see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.3dnatives.com\/en\/applications-by-sector\/\">applications<\/a> in the aerospace, energy, automotive, manufacturing and engineering applications.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The CEO of Bond 3D, Gerald Holtvl\u00fcwer said, \u201c<i>We found that the market needs strong functional parts made from high-performance polymers that can be used not only for prototyping but for production.
