The 3D printer creates a variety of dishes for students.\u00a0The goal is to encourage them to pursue a career in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).\u00a0Teaching\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.3dnatives.com\/en\/3d-printing-in-education-290820184\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">3D printing at school<\/a>\u00a0could be a way to introduce young people to new technologies and show them, through different applications, how it is gradually changing our production methods.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.3dnatives.com\/en\/food-3d-printing220520184\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Food 3D printing<\/a>\u00a0is starting to make a splash, whether it&#8217;s to create diet-friendly foods, more creative dishes, or to respond to a broader food crisis.\u00a0In this case, it&#8217;s a way to approach a young audience and make them discover 3D printing more widely. This in order to encourage them to pursue studies in this direction.\u00a0In any case, this is the idea of \u200b\u200bthe organising team of the Big Bang Fair. It&#8217;s an annual English event that promotes science, technology and mathematics.\u00a0After conducting a study of students, the company says that 71% of respondents think it&#8217;s important to have access to advanced technologies at school. And 40% say that you can learn by eating. Such as cod served with beans in small mashed hexes.\u00a0They also enjoyed star-shaped broccoli or a hummus and avocado lizard.\u00a0It is the Foodini 3D printer from the Spanish manufacturer, Natural Machines\u00a0that was used. It relies on the well-known extrusion principle of FDM machines. Layer by layer, machine deposits the dough required for the production of different foods.<\/p><div class=\"dnati-inside-article-leaderboard\" style=\"text-align: center;\" id=\"dnati-2789504531\"><a data-no-instant=\"1\" href=\"https:\/\/us06web.zoom.us\/webinar\/register\/3717757396787\/WN_sBfwcCHoQSq1mEANYpWa6Q\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"a2t-link\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"LB (3)\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.3dnatives.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/04\/LB-3.gif\" alt=\"\"  width=\"850\" height=\"150\"   \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The project has had some success with students, that was quite fascinated by the capabilities of the machine.\u00a0Some even said they preferred the taste of food coming out of the machine.\u00a0The faculty was also pleased. Young people want to experience these new technologies.
