Not only when looking to desktop machines, but also for the industry itself.\u00a0And it is in this sector in which the Polish company 3DGence has seen an opportunity as well. During the recently held Formnext, the\u00a0manufacturer of 3D printers has shown us, its\u00a0main innovations for the industrial sector.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The company belonging to the Micha\u0142 So\u0142owow Group, has specialised in\u00a0double extrusion 3D printers<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0with its:\u00a0INDUSTRY F340<\/a>\u00a0and its 3DGence DOUBLE P255<\/a>;\u00a0in addition to the\u00a03DGence ONE<\/a>, a single extruder 3D printer.\u00a0To reaffirm its growth, during the third edition of the fair, the company 3DGence showed its new development of industrial materials for its machines and a robotic arm that demonstrates the capacity of its 3D printers.<\/p>\n

New materials for the industry?<\/h3>\n

One of the great themes within Formnext 2018 was the evolution of 3D printing materials.\u00a0The industrial filament market has grown with 217%<\/strong>\u00a0in the last two years according to the\u00a0study by the Belgian company Filaments.Discover from earlier this year.\u00a0That is why more and more companies are betting on the technology of molten deposition at the industrial level.\u00a0A technology that is being reinforced more and more in the development of final pieces.<\/p>

New soluble filament for ABS<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

3DGence presented a new filament of PEEK thermoplastic that can be printed in two variants: amorphous or crystalline.\u00a0This high performance material was developed for your 3DGence INDUSTRY F340, printer chosen among our favourites to\u00a0print PEEK and Ultem<\/a>\u00a0that are able to create durable and resistant parts.<\/p>\n

To test the potential of its machines and materials, 3Dgence\u00a0presented a robotic arm developed by its<\/strong>\u00a0research and development\u00a0department during the fair<\/strong>.\u00a0Created completely with 3D printed pieces, this arm made of\u00a0ABS and PLA<\/a>\u00a0demonstrates the capacity of the industrial machine of the brand for different industrial solutions.<\/p>\n

Robotic arm created with 3D printed parts<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

“We have built a 120 kg robotic arm with great repeatability of movement.\u00a0We wanted to test the capabilities of 3DGence 3D printers and I can confirm that we tested the usability of FDM technology in the prototyping process<\/em>, “said Przemys\u0142aw Wolnicki, 3DGence Development Manager.<\/p>\n

To demonstrate equally the potential of its machines, the company offers the possibility of\u00a0requesting a free sample of a piece printed in 3D with its technology<\/a>.\u00a0The user can choose between three different models of PEEK. That will allow you to check the strength and durability of a piece created with these technologies, and with the machines of the European manufacturer. Basically you\u00a0can choose one of the three models prepared, including the PEEK helical compound gear,\u00a0 the PC-ABS brake caliper and\u00a0the ABS indexing gear<\/p>\n
