We found the TOP 5 videos of the week related to 3D printing and collected the additive manufacturing here. Share your videos and comment on the article below or on the 3Dnatives’ Facebook or Twitter account. Hope you’ll enjoy and have a great Sunday!

Top 1: Bespoke Bodies: the design & craft of prosthetics

Bespoke Bodies is an exhibition and educational program that explores how design impacts people’s lives. 35 million people have lost a limb today, and prosthetic devices are more numerous, more developed, more functional and aesthetic than ever before. The exhibition examines the past, present and future of these prosthetic designs by presenting more than 35 different cases. An initiative that shows us several 3D printed prostheses. This Bespoke Bodies exhibition is free and will open in Boston in early 2019.

Top 2: #In3DSnaps at In3Dustry

The IN (3D) USTRY show in Barcelona ended last week. The event brought together many additive manufacturing players from all sectors, such as Healthcare and Fashion. We went to meet these visitors and tested their knowledge of 3D printing knowledge. Watch the video to discover the atmosphere of the show and maybe gain some insights!

Top 3: Electric Motorcycles

The American company Lightning Motors has been using 3D printing for 5 years now for creating the parts of its electric motorcycles. It uses the Lulzbot’s 3D FDM printers to design parts of its engines, batteries, lights and bodywork. The company even makes molds to create carbon parts and the results look great. It leads to a cool looking 3D printed electronic motorcycle. So, are you ready to ride a motorcycle?

Top 4: 3D printing in High school

Implementing 3D printing and other technologies in our education systems in different ways is important. At North Collins High school, there is set up a Maker Space; a manufacturing and creative space that promotes the use of advanced technologies. The space makes it possible for students to come and create any project, from drones and robots to art projects. The space includes Flashforge FDM 3D printers as well as laser cutting and electronics for the students to get started with 3D printing in high school already.

Top 5: Implementing Metal 3D printing

To keep your business up to standard you need to evolve and implement new technology. This case study introduces us to how Amiga Engineering does just that. By showing how the company implemented Metal 3D printing in their process.
