Top 1: How 3D Printing is Helping the Ukrainian Army in Times of War

ICE, a tech-company based in the Czech Republic, recently announced that it will be aiding the Ukrainian Army by providing concrete 3D printers. The purpose of those machines is to print concrete barriers to shield the Ukrainian people from attacks by the Russian attackers. The 3D printed barriers are able  to serve as a solid protection against light firearms and grenades, as tests conduction in ballistic laboratories show. After the war, the 3D printers will help to rebuild the destroyed buildings and infrastructure of the cities that have been exposed to war.

For the Luxembourg based art exhibition CRAFT 3.0, various art craftsmen, creators, designers and digital specialists have gathered to explore how old traditional art can be complemented by the use of modern and digital techniques. Going by the name “De Mains De Maîtres” , the idea of this coalition of different specialists from Luxembourg and other European countries is to take a closer look at the interest that there may be in the future to bring together and combine old and new skills. The results of this gathering are shown at the CRAFT 3.0 exhibition!
