RAYSHAPE Arrives in Europe, Expanding its 3D Printer Partners and Resellers
Additive manufacturing is an increasingly widespread technology worldwide and one of the continents experiencing considerable growth is Europe. The greatest European demand for 3D printing comes from small and medium-sized companies looking not only for prototyping, but also for industrial adoption for final parts in a wide variety of applications. In response to this demand, many machine manufacturers are looking to offer their solutions in this market. This is the case of the Asian company RAYSHAPE which, after announcing its international expansion to other continents, has now also arrived in Europe with a new office in the Netherlands. But what does this mean for the company and its market positioning? What are the benefits of its resin 3D printing solutions in this context?
AM is being adopted more and more in a variety of industries, such as aerospace, automotive, defense, healthcare, etc. According to a study by Research and Markets, 3D printing in Europe was valued at nearly $4.5 billion in 2022 and is expected to grow at an annual rate of 23.1% through 2030. This growth is due to improved manufacturing efficiency (cost and time), the logistical feasibility of the technology, the continued possibility of innovation, the freedom of design and customization, and finally, the reduction of errors compared to traditional production. In fact, many governments in Europe are carrying out initiatives to promote the implementation of 3D printing through financial aid, thus promoting the leadership of this technology on the continent.
We recently heard the news that RAYSHAPE had entered the U.S. 3D printing market. The goal? To raise awareness of its product and solution offerings as well as form partnerships with key players in the digital dentistry value chain. Its arrival in the U.S. market would also enhance brand positioning and help expand its international presence. But the company is not stopping there. Opening up to Europe will further enhance this global recognition for RAYSHAPE. Although they already opened a branch office in the English capital last year, the new offices in the Netherlands are intended to be a reference point for the management of all operations related to their resin 3D printing solutions in Europe. The inauguration of this new central European facility will take place on 00/00/00 (date to be confirmed).
Partnerships With Companies in the Industry
As part of RAYSHAPE’s expansion strategy, partnerships with industry players have been critical. One of its most recent partners is Keystone Industries. A leading manufacturer in the dental field, it has now joined forces with RAYSHAPE to offer dental professionals high-quality 3D printing solutions. Thanks to this union, KeyPrint 3D resins, known for their precision, strength and biocompatibility, have now been validated for the Asian manufacturer’s Shape 1+ Series and Edge E1 3D printers. Bill Liu, CEO and Founder of RAYSHAPE, commented: “We are excited to announce this collaboration with Keystone Industries, one of the key global players in digital dentistry, which marks a significant milestone in our company’s journey. This will allow our customers to use excellent resins that provide unparalleled value with our solutions.”
Another partner organization is Saremco. Based in Switzerland, this dental company is known for developing, producing and distributing light-curing resins for restorative dentistry. Thanks to this collaboration, Saremco print CROWNTEC’s printing and curing parameters are now integrated with RAYSHAPE’s additive manufacturing solutions. Franca Schmid, CEO of Saremco Dental AG, explains, “By validating our Saremco print CROWNTEC with Shape 1+ and ShapeCure, we believe we can make it even more accessible for our customers to experience the superior quality of our resin. Rayshape is an innovative company with a solid 3D printing system, and we look forward to a long and successful collaboration with them.” Both partnerships highlight the importance of collaboration in the 3D printing industry. Together with RAYSHAPE, both companies are committed to providing dental professionals with innovative, reliable and high-quality 3D printing solutions.
A key point of this expansion strategy is distributors. As of today, the company has an extensive list of resellers of its 3D printing solutions, both in the United States, Asia, and now in Europe. Some of them include (TBC Resellers). Still, this gradual arrival on the continent also means that the company is currently looking for resellers in specific markets in Europe who are betting on the brand to distribute its resin 3D printers.
