How L3AD Is Making Industrial 3D Printing Accessible through Digital Factories

At TCT Asia, 3Dnatives met with Francesco Spinoglio, General Manager of L3AD, to discuss how the company is transforming industrial 3D printing into a highly accessible digital ecosystem. Moving beyond simple instant-quote services, L3AD acts as a complete operating platform where clients can upload files to a centralized library, configure materials and parameters, track production, manage logistics, and even utilize warehouse storage. By plugging into the platform, companies can operate it like their own digital factory without having to invest millions in their own infrastructure.

Supported by a fully amortized network of over 800 printers, L3AD delivers cost-efficient serial production and batch manufacturing. The company conducts its own material development across China and Europe, with particular strength in both FDM, SLA and SLS technologies. One standout is their proprietary FDM formulations, including TPU and a specialized polypropylene (PP) that is ideal for medium and large functional parts.

In an industry shifting away from the outdated hype of entirely replacing traditional manufacturing, Francesco highlights a mature market focused on practical execution and steady growth.
