SolidCAM, as many of you may know, is a renowned company specializing in the development of CAD/CAM solutions, dedicated to streamlining the path to adopting 3D printing technologies. This focus is particularly interesting in machine shops that primarily specialize in traditional machining methods, often overlooking the significant benefits that additive systems can bring. To gain a deeper understanding of the company, our team at 3Dnatives traveled to SolidCAM’s facility in Israel. Our tour commenced with a meeting with Dr. Emil Somekh, CEO and Founder of SolidCAM, who shared insights about the company’s expansion and its venture into the 3D printing market. Subsequently, we ventured into the milling area, where we had the privilege of conversing with Michael Vinetski, Vice President of Product Management. He showcased some of the remarkable parts that can be created using SolidCAM’s innovative iMachining technology. Finally, we concluded our visit by meeting Alexander Miasnikov, Technical Director of Additives, who introduced us to SolidCAM’s impressive array of 3D printers housed within their facility.
