Everything You Need to Know About the Slicer Creality Print

Creality Print

Creality Print, developed by 3D printer manufacturer Creality, is a slicing software designed for FDM 3D printers. Launched in January 2022, it has become an essential tool for users looking to optimize their Creality printer usage. This slicer is the successor to Creality Slicer, the brand’s previous software, which remains popular with many enthusiasts. All 3D models for additive manufacturing must be sliced, so slicing software is essential. Creality Print offers all the features you need for this crucial step in 3D printing.

Since its creation in 2014 in China, Creality has been committed to making 3D printing accessible to everyone. Over the years, the company has become one of the leaders in the FDM 3D printing market by offering various quality 3D printers at competitive prices. Creality Print is an example of this commitment. Available for free download on its website, it is designed to be user-friendly and meet the needs of both novice and experienced users. But what are its features?

Creality Print Functionalities

Creality Print offers a sleek and intuitive user interface. This software has a modern aesthetic characterized by a simplified layout. In addition to the basic features found in other slicers, Creality Print offers an integrated model library and a media customization tool. With Creality Print, preparing your prints is a simple, three-step process: preparation, preview, and device configuration. First, you import your model and adjust settings such as filament type and print quality. Next, you benefit from easy slicing and numerous preview options to ensure your print will be successful. Finally, you connect your printer by scanning a QR code or entering its IP address.

This software provides direct links to Creality Cloud, where you can access a wide selection of pre-designed models created by other users or even find your own creations previously shared on the Cloud. You can utilize over 500,000 models. To ensure optimal print quality, Creality Print also offers several useful features. First, you can customize your supports using slim, tree-like supports. This makes them easier to remove and ensures intact prints, especially for complex 3D models. Additionally, thanks to refined retraction that combines print head adjustment, retraction distance, Z-hop, and speed settings, your prints are clean, avoiding material dripping during extruder movements. This feature prevents marks on the surface of the part and reduces the risk of stringing.

Creality Print also offers an automatic layout tool, allowing you to maximize the use of your print bed when printing multiple objects simultaneously. Furthermore, you can divide a large model into several smaller parts. Finally, you can customize each model by adding a name, mark, or letters according to your preferences. Once your model is ready, you can review the G-code file and check various attributes such as speed, structure, layer thickness, fan speed, and more. Each layer can be inspected with great precision, allowing you to catch every detail.

The Slicer’s Compatibilities

When you launch Creality Print for the first time, you will be asked to configure your printer so that the software works properly with your equipment. However, please note that Creality Print is primarily compatible with Creality FDM 3D printers. If you are using a printer from another brand, you will need to add your printer details manually.

Creality Print is available in over 18 languages and offers compatibility with a multitude of file formats such as STL, OBJ, DEA, and 3DS. You can also access this software on Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems. To discover more features or to download Creality Print, click HERE.
