3DHEALS Boston is the next event coming up by the end of july. It is an ecosystem closely associated with academia, startups, and industries. Concurrently with annual MIT Short Course on Additive Manufacturing, this will be an event full of discovery, networking, and education on 3D printing and bioprinting with a healthcare focus in the mecca of medicine, the city of Boston.

Speakers at the 3DHEALS Boston event will be:

Jenny Chen

Trained neuroradiologist & founder/CEO of 3DHeals.
Her main interest include medical education, 3D printing in the healthcare sector, and artificial intelligence. She is also a current adjunct clinical faculty in the Stanfor Healthcare radiology department.

Albert S. Woo

MD, FACS is a board-certified plastic & reconstructive surgeon specialised in treatment of cleft & craniofacial anomalies.
His work has, amongst other, lead to a particular interest in three dimensional imaging and printing of complex surgical models.
He serves as an Associate Professor of Surgery, Pediatrics and Neurosurgery the the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, is the Chief of the Pediatric Plastic Surgery Division, Director of the Cleft & Craniofacial Center at Hasbro Children’s Hospital, and acts as the Director of the new Lifespan 3D Printing Laboratory.

Jessica Zeaske

PhD, MBA serves as Director of Healthcare Investments at GE Ventures in Boston. Here she focuses on Health IT, IT-enabled Health Services and Non-Invasive Medical Technology investments. She has spend most of her carrier focused on the health sector in different aspects and developing businesses.
She is currently on the board of Apervita and Arcadia and is a board observer at CareMerge along with previously haven been on multiple other boards.

Derek Morris

Project Lead and one of the founders of the Organ Manufacturing Group at United Therapeutics. He has previously served as a Technical Assistant at Max Levchin’s venture capital firm, HVF, focusing on AI, Biology and Cryptography.

Gideon Balloch

Holds a degree in mechanical engineering from McGill University and currently works as the Dental Product Lead at Formlab. He pioneered and work as an industry leader in professional desktop 3D printing. He is a driving force behind the companies dental product development efforts, which has opened up use in hundreds of thousands of treatments, with over 1 million dental appliances produced on Formlabs printers so far.
