Anycubic Rolls Out Three Brand New Products at TCT

Published on May 27, 2021 by Amelia H.

Anycubic, a leading manufacturer of 3D printers, has just launched multiple brand new 3D printing solutions at the TCT Show on May 26th. Notably, the company introduced the Anycubic Cloud platform-based Photon Mono X Pro, the Digital Light Processing (DLP)-based Photon Ultra and the upcoming FDM 3D printer Vyper. With these three products, Anycubic cements its leading position when it comes to technological innovation and user experience in the light curing 3D printer market.

The launch of these three “disruptive” products is demonstrative of Anycubic’s extensive industry experience and technological competence. James Ouyang, vice president of research and development at Anycubic continues, “Over the past few years, Anycubic has maintained rapid growth with a continued commitment to in-house research and development of key 3D printing technologies, making it a pioneer and leader in the desktop 3D printer sector […] The three new printers have expanded the horizons of the 3D printing equipment market while widening the application of 3D printing technologies.”

Relying on a comprehensive approach to the intelligence mandated by 3D printers and mobile phones alike, the Anycubic Cloud platform-based light curing solution lowers the threshold for 3D printing while also simplifying the printing process. The solution incorporates a number of important features including a model library, cloud slicing, cloud printing, file transmission, remote monitoring, equipment management and online upgrade. By actively redefining the light curing 3D printing experience thanks to a 64-bit high-performance mainboard, the Anycubic Cloud platform-based Photon Mono X Pro is able to deliver a far more impressive performance in terms of computing and graphics processing capabilities than conventional light curing 3D printers.

During the same event, Anycubic also rolled out two other products: the Photon Ultra, launched with Texas Instruments, and Vyper. Photon Ultra is a 3D printer which relies on DLP technology. According to Mr. Ouyang, “Photon Ultra boasts a UV light utilization rate of up to 95 per cent, far higher than the LCD series’ mere 1 to 5 per cent. With DLP technology, the new 3D printer increases the efficiency threefold compared with rivals that deploy the SLA printing technology. By combining DLP technology with Anycubic’s uniformly distributed and stable UV light source, Photon Ultra enables high precision and fast printing”. The Vyper on the other hand, is a FDM 3D printer possessing an intelligent leveling system that enables one-click leveling and printing by automatically leveling the hotbed. The machine improves upon the printing speed offered by other conventional 3D printers of the same quality, by offering a speed of up to 100 mm/s. Moreover, the Vyper printing platform will make use of a new process which combines a special scratch-resistant coating with spring steel which resists deformation, even in high-temperature environments.
