The polish company, 3DGence are dedicated to the creation of high quality 3D professional printers. Since it was established in 2014, 3DGence has expanded rapidly and keep going strong. Their INDUSTRY, earned a place on our list of dual-extruder 3D printers. Now to their most recent announcement; the company is launching its newest model of their 3D printer, the 3DGence DOUBLE 255.

Characteristics of the 3DGence DOUBLE 255

The 3DGence DOUBLE P255 works with FDM technology. It is as a professional device specifically designed to make 3D prints with advanced geometry. From previously an enclosure has now been added to the standard equipment of 3DGence DOUBLE P255. This ensures a stable temperature during the printing process. As well as improves the quality and dimensional accuracy of the printed parts. The device has further been equipped with new hotends. Here the use of an optimised cooling system makes it possible to increase the service life of set hotends. This 3D printer has also been updated with a new version of the software. The software has been updated especially paying attention to the printing process in the chamber itself.

The 3DGence DOUBLE P255 has received the TÜV Rheinland certificate, confirming the repeatability and quality of production and safety the device delivers.

3DGence DOUBLE 255

the 3DGence DOUBLE P255 is as the previous model a dual extruder 3D printer designed to create high-quality and detailed prints. This makes it possible to print with two different materials at the same time. Such as the model and support – including water-soluble BVOH material. The 3DGence DOUBLE P255 3D printer has both the option to use the recommended as well as an open material base when printing. 3DGence currently have ready-made material combinations available in the 3DGence Slicer software: PLA + BVOH, PET + BVOH, PP + HIPS, NYLON + HIPS, Smart ABS + HIPS. The machine further prints from the flexible Fiberflex 40D.

The idea behind the design

As with most all 3DGence 3D printers, one of the main design goals of the 3DGence DOUBLE P255 was to create a reliable and versatile 3D printer. As Filip Turzyński, the Quality Development Manager explains, “We have introduced a number of improvements to reduce the difficulty of using the printer. Enclosure ensures a stable working temperature and hotend design was optimized for longer continuous operation. User involvement in the calibration process has been minimized as much as possible”

3DGence DOUBLE 255

The Formnext event is coming up next month and the new 3DGence DOUBLE P255 printer will be on display there. If you are in Frankfurt from the 13/11 to the 16/11 you can stop experience it in person. The 3DGence DOUBLE P255 will be joined by a multitude of other machines. These consist of 3D printers such as the PEEK printer 3DGence INDUSTRY F340, 3DGence ONE or the printed, fully functional robot arm will also be available at the company’s booth.
