They offer services in additive manufacturing but also complementary technologies such as CNC machining, injection molding, and laser cutting. Providers can produce prototypes or end-use parts in series production. Therefore, companies that wish to test designs for their projects but do not have any reason to invest in in-house equipment can work with a manufacturing service to have their parts made.

Additionally, a buyer is able to adjust parameters, such as capacity and turnover, to measure how it affects manufacturing costs. The 3D printing bureau headquartered in the UK, ProMake, joined the marketplace in 2018, and has experienced first-hand the interest from clients. We created 50 T-piece air intake valves that came out beautifully. The enquiries range from industrial parts to very organic parts such as animal bones.”
