Profile
The Senior PBF Process Control Engineer is a senior technical role based in Long Beach, California, responsible for defining, qualifying, and stabilizing powder bed fusion processes used in the production of flight-critical rocket hardware. As the owner of core PBF process specifications, this role leads qualification strategies, parameter governance, and process change verification to ensure consistent, high-quality manufacturing outcomes. The engineer works closely with Materials and Processes, Quality, Design, and Production teams to manage risk, maintain configuration control, and align manufacturing capability with evolving vehicle requirements. Ideal candidates bring five or more years of experience in metal additive manufacturing or aerospace special process ownership, strong statistical and analytical skills, and a proven ability to translate rigorous process control into reliable, scalable production for flight hardware.
