Mission
To provide support for student learning, informal and formal training and instruction and the development of proficiency with highly specialist techniques, production methods and technology, covering areas of 3D digital fabrication. Day to day, the job covers operating 3D Printing machines and supporting student file development in Rhino 3D modelling software. Teaching and supporting students in file preparation as well as CNC milling, laser cutting, object scanning and 3D modelling.
£40,199 – £49,072 per annum
Profile
Essential: A degree or an equivalent professional qualification in 3D digital design or demonstrable professional industry experience in 3D digital design and manufacture plus educational delivery and/or training. Demonstrable experience with FDM, SLA and PolyJet 3D printing. Proficiency in Rhino 3D modelling.
Ideal: Previous work operating CNC milling machines, with the Roland SRP player set-up. Hands on experience in, laser cutting, Adobe illustrator, Bambu Studio and Preform software.
